Overview
Welcome to the Payment Connect Administrator Guide. This guide is for Salesforce administrators, technical architects, and implementation teams responsible for configuring, maintaining, and managing Payment Connect within Salesforce.
It covers the administrative and technical configuration side of the platform — not end-user functionality. For how to use the product day to day to collect payments or issue refunds, see the User Guide.
Use this guide to:
-
Configure the Payment Connect application, including Custom Metadata Types and Field Mappings.
-
Set up and authenticate multiple payment gateways (e.g., Actum, Fiserv, UnityFi).
-
Configure Salesforce Sites, remote site settings, and email templates for payment links.
-
Set up scheduled batch processes for recurring payments, transaction captures, and status updates.
-
Maintain configuration through environment changes such as sandbox refreshes.
-
Validate system setup using a Maker-Checker framework.
In This Guide
Before you begin: Payment Connect must be installed in your Salesforce org first. (Link your package installation steps here — these pages cover configuration that happens after installation.)
