Configure Classic Email Template | Cloud Maven

This document outlines the process to create Classic Email Templates in Salesforce, which will be used to send out verification requests.

Make sure you have your org-specific Site Domain ready for the Bank Verification request.

Purpose

You will need to create two separate email templates:

Bank Verification Request Template — used for sending emails related to bank account verification.
Identity Verification Request Template — used for emails related to identity verification.

Each template requires distinct content and merge fields tailored to their specific verification type to ensure clear communication with recipients.

Following this guide will help you set up the email templates correctly for seamless automated email sending during the verification workflows.

Bank Verification Request Template

1. Navigate to Setup

In Salesforce, go to Setup and search for Classic Email Templates.

2. Create a New Template

Click New.
Select Custom (without using Classic Letterhead).
Click Next.

3. Populate the Template Details

Folder → Select the folder where you want to store the template.
Available for Use → Check this box (True).
Email Template Name → Enter a name such as Plaid Template (you can choose your own).
Subject → Enter Bank Verification Required.

4. Add the Email Body

Paste the provided Plaid Email Template Content into the email body.

Replace the default site domain (https://cloudmavenultimate-dev-ed.my.salesforce-sites.com/BankConnectUltimate/) with your org-specific site domain created for the Bank Verification request.

5. Branding (Optional)

You can update the logo, colors, and theme to match your organization’s branding requirements.

6. Save the Template

Click Save to store your template and make it available for use.
