Syncing QuickBooks Customers and QuickBooks Vendors

To create or sync existing QuickBooks records in Salesforce, use the QuickBooks Sync button, as shown below.

1 Sync Process for Customer and Vendor

Navigate to the record where the QuickBooks customer or vendor is configured.

1.1 Creating a Customer or Vendor in QuickBooks:

  1. Click on Quickbooks Sync button

  2. Select the desired Company (if multiple companies are linked and active). If only 1 company is connected, you’ll not see below screen

    Navigate to the section if there are multiple QuickBooks entities linked to a single source object. Else, the section with the mapping configured for respective object will be opened.

  2. Click on “Push - Send to QuickBooks” to send data of Salesforce record to QuickBooks to create a new QuickBooks Customer record.

  1. The customer or vendor will be automatically created in QuickBooks.

1.2 Syncing Existing QuickBooks Records to Salesforce:

  1. Click on Quickbooks Sync button

  2. Select the desired Company (if multiple companies are linked and active). If only 1 company is connected, you’ll not see below screen

  1. Click on “Retrieve - Import from QuickBooks” to retrieve data of QuickBooks entity inside Salesforce.

  1. The data will be pulled from QuickBooks into Salesforce.

1.3 Attaching a QuickBooks Record to a Salesforce Record:

  1. If no related QuickBooks record exists in Salesforce, click the Retrieve - Import from QuickBooks button.

  2. Choose the company, then search for the record you want to attach.

  1. After selecting the record, it will automatically be linked to the Salesforce record.
